Frequently asked questions
Short, precise answers to the most common questions about working with SoloCodeLab: cost, timelines, code ownership, and AI, mobile app, CRM, web design and SEO services.
What is SoloCodeLab?
SoloCodeLab is a one-person startup: a single freelancer who delivers AI consulting, Android and iPhone apps, custom CRMs, website design and SEO/GEO for businesses.
Why work with a freelancer instead of an agency?
Direct contact with the person writing the code, faster decisions, lower cost without agency overhead, and one person fully accountable for the result.
How is project cost calculated?
After a consultation and clear scoping, you receive a written proposal with a timeline and fixed or milestone-based pricing. Payment is usually per milestone.
Do you work with clients outside Iran?
Yes. Collaboration is fully remote, in both Persian and English.
Is there support after delivery?
Yes. Every project includes a free support period, with optional monthly maintenance afterwards.
Who owns the code and the project?
After final payment, the source code, domain, accounts and all project assets belong entirely to you.
Does a small business really need AI?
Yes. Small businesses often gain the most, because customer replies, content production and reporting can be automated cheaply, freeing the owner’s time.
How long does a consultation take?
The initial session is about one hour. A full assessment and roadmap usually takes one to two weeks.
Will our data stay secure?
Yes. When needed, self-hosted models are used so data never leaves your organisation, and access is kept to a minimum.
What is n8n?
n8n is an open-source automation tool that connects services and AI models, and it can run on your own server.
How long does an Android app take?
A first version (MVP) usually takes 4–10 weeks, depending on the number of screens, backend needs and in-app payments.
Do I get the source code?
Yes, the full source code and store accounts belong to you.
Can one codebase serve Android and iPhone?
Yes. With Flutter one codebase targets both, cutting cost and time significantly. For special hardware features, native Swift is recommended.
What is a PWA?
A PWA is a web app that installs to the iPhone home screen without the App Store and behaves like a regular app.
Is a custom CRM better than a ready-made one?
If your workflow is unique or ready-made CRMs feel too complex, a custom CRM is cheaper and more practical in the long run.
Can existing spreadsheet data be imported?
Yes, existing data is imported from spreadsheets or other software.
Why does site speed matter?
Speed directly affects Google rankings and conversions; every second of delay loses visitors before they see the page.
Is the site built with WordPress?
It depends. Modern static technology (like Astro) is used for top speed, plus a suitable CMS when easy content editing is needed.
How is GEO different from SEO?
SEO targets ranking in Google’s result list, while GEO aims for AI models to quote your site or recommend your brand when they answer.
How long until SEO shows results?
Technical fixes show impact within weeks, but sustainable traffic growth usually takes 3–6 months.
